Cauliflower can be quite the underrated vegetable. It can be prepared and seasoned in so many different ways.
No we’re not saying that this cauliflower steak is the same as your average slab of red meat, but it is quite delicious AND full of fiber, and nutrients. When cut thick, cauliflower has that “meaty” texture that makes is so much more satisfying than just regular roasted cauliflower.
Also, let’s not forget how simple this recipe is!
After you wash your cauliflower, slice it into thick pieces.
Then just lightly brush the cauliflower with extra virgin olive oil and top with your spices of choice(salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and coriander)!
Then bake until golden brown (about 15 minutes on each side) at 425 degrees.
Serve on top of a layer of hummus with your favorite red sauce, and a fennel, cilantro salad!
